Experimenting with detail. Tree trunk and roots come to me intuitively I like the blurred foliage but I would like to learn more detail solve the challenge. Played with adding more layers blur/smudge/stiple one color per layer.  Finding places to safely show my artwork:  Zoom profile image at meetings

May 16,2021 Digital Drawing Inspired by Olivia's Mint OC.  I see things tonally, line comes second.  Its an intuitive process but this is the first piece I feel that I can be successful in this medium.  Olivia organizes her work/view differently.  I would like to learn her approach but I realize that I need to find my voice and strength and my personal  aesthetic.  I like the blurred affect of painterly impressionist and blurred photographic light.  I discover color value, trial and error of color palettes. I definitely feel like I am learning a great deal with just applying what I know and experimenting. Continuous improvement and hope that it ripples out to real life painting.

May 9,2021 Angel inspired by the historical account describing actual angels.  Full layers and partial layers displayed. Learning that I like light/tone blurred and smudged, floofy, watercolor, and flat brush.  Reflective surfaces may be easier to attain than I thought.  This medium is like a paint/drawing simulator and I learn through trial and error.
